Tournament rules

The Rosa Panther Indoor Cup will be played in accordance with the rules of GLTA and ITF. By participating in the Cup players agree to those rules. All players have to play in the appropriate GLTA division - Find the rankings here.

 

Matches

The matches will be played at Tennis Center Noris (TCN) Complex. You can register for two different events out of three (singles/doubles/mixed). All matches in the main draw and the consolation finals will be played best of three sets with a super tie-break until 10 points in the third set.
In case of an unforeseen delay, the tournament committee reserves the right to modify the format of the matches. Please report to the tournament desk 30 minutes prior to each match! Warm up times are limited to 5 minutes! Please report the match results to the tournament desk after the match.

 

Consolation Rounds

All players who lose their first match can report to the tournament desk if they want to enter the consolation round. Matches will be played as a pro-set of 8 games with a tiebreak at 8-8 (for finals see above). There will be consolation rounds in the doubles and mixed events as well.

 

Balls & Courts

All matches will be played with Dunlop Fort balls. The balls will be used for a maximum of three matches. The matches will be played indoors on green carpet courts with fine particule granulate. Please use appropriate indoor tennis shoes.

 

Late Arrival & Delays

Each player is responsible for being on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late or if you need more than five minutes to recover from an injury, your match will be lost.

 

Trophies

In all GLTA categories, winner and runner-up prizes are awarded. For consolation rounds and Round-robin, prizes are awarded to the winner only.
